Chapter: She Wonders

I think she's fallen,
Regardless of what others may think or say,
When love is calling,
There's nothing that can stand in the way,
Maybe not love,
But it's definitely attraction,
"The stars from above, shifted us into to action."
As he glances and catches her eye,
Once again asking herself why,
Why does he care? How is he intrigued?
Why is it when I see him, I get weak in the knees?
His essence, his swagger and perhaps his flow,
His mind and his words make his personality glow
Subtly resisting urges to speak what she feels,
The relationship isn't a plan, it's destiny not a deal.
His presence makes her heart burst with emotion,
While his eyes and kiss are a recipe for a deadly potion,
Dead as in she'll pass from a life of inconsideration for herself,
to one where her happiness makes her rich,
her own personal wealth.
And so she rolls in her riches and lives for today,
Comforted by the thought that he's here to stay.

Chapter: Let's

Let's live without imagining demise,
Let's talk, let's unravel our minds.
Let's be together and forget about time,
Let's chat, let's unwind.

Let's kill the judgments that make us so blind.
Let's talk, let's stop being so kind.
Let's observe the sky as the planets realign,
Let's chat, let's unwind.

Let's live in the present, and leave the past behind,
Let's talk, let's release those thoughts confined.
Let's live in peace and let our lives intertwine,
Let's chat, let's unwind.

Let's be ignorant and live in a blissful state of mind,
Let's talk, let's visit cloud nine.
Let's move to the moon and come back some other time,
Let's chat, let's unwind.

Let's get along, and let our feelings combine,
Let's talk, let's not let the attraction decline.
Let's grow and go beyond ninety-nine,
Let's chat, 'cause I'd only want you to be mine.

Chapter: Whose There?

Let's recap. Jimmy and I came across this house that looked perfectly fine from the roof down, and rather destroyed from the roof up. Last Friday, we, along with Lety and Frandiego, decided to go searching for it again. We failed. We tried again on Saturday with Gustavo. Success! Then we all went again later on to investigate. It was pouring outside and the quality isn't great, but here it is..

No one was there. Good, or else that would have been a tad strange. The inside was all burned so turns out it was a fire, bummer. I was expecting something more exciting.

Chapter: Knock, Knock?

Scenario: We're hopelessly driving around trying to find this dance studio, to get Jimmy's radio. We enter this little neighborhood, all quiet, nice and peaceful. Suddenly, BAM! We come across this house...We have no idea what could have possibly happened to this house. So we came up with various theories and explanations:
1. Two fire balls from God knows where came out of no where and struck the house. Resulting in the massive holes on the roof. (Jimmy)
2. Aliens came and attempted to abduct. It may or may not have been successful. We chose not to enter the house to investigate.
3. The people that lived there became super humans and flew out of their house, and never came back.
4. Struck by lightening, twice.
5. Could have been a simple fire, but where's the fun in that.

Crazy, right? Any ideas?

Chapter: Identity Theft

Identity Theft: The only crime where the suspect is presumed innocent before proven guilty, and the victim is "guilty" until proven "innocent."

To me, that sounds absurd. It not only sounds absurd, but it is. Identity theft is one of the worst crimes ever, Aside from murder. These people have the nerve to steal your name, date of birth, social security number, and claim to be the victim. Credit card fraud is the most common type of identity theft. This is where the thief pretends to be the victim, calls the credit card company and changes the mailing address on an existing account. If not, the thief opens a new credit card account in the victim's name. Since the bills aren't being sent to the actual victim, they have no idea anything is going on. In the meantime, the thief is using the credit card, not paying the bills and consequentially ruining your credit, along with your life. Excuse my language, but to me that's a genuine asshole.

There's other types of theft also. For example, some involve depository accounts. The thief opens accounts under the victim's name, makes electronic funds transfers, and/or writes bad checks on the account. There is also loan fraud, where they use the name to take out a loan. These jerks can buy a house under your name, and you have no idea.

Even though it's not a violent crime, the effect it has on you is almost equal. Your effected emotionally, financially and physiologically. It can take years to clear your name. In all that time, you can be denied loans, accounts, credit cards, jobs etc. It really takes it's toll on you. So unjust.

And, it can happen to anyone. Take this kid Zach's story. His identity was stolen when he was 7 years old. To buy a boathouse. He didn't find out until ten years later when he was denied a student loan and a job due to poor credit. He was $40,000 dollars in debt, and it took over ten years to clear his name. That's pretty serious.

If you suspect that your identity has been stolen, go to this website for further assistance, or go to socialsecurity.gov itself.

If you'd like to be safe, and protect your identity, look at LifeLock, they seem pretty legit about their stuff.

Friendly Reminder: Keep all your important papers at home. Never carry your SS card with you.

Chapter: I Thee Wed You, Mrs. Eiffel

What if I told you I was in love with, hmm I don't know, umm let's say...a roller coaster?
You'd think I were joking, right? Well you'd be right because I highly doubt I'd ever fall for an inanimate object. But this isn't about me. This is about people who fall in love (yes love, the love you have for a significant other) with objects like a shoe, a fence, and even a roller coaster.
The best part isn't that they
love the stuff, but they actually have relationships with them, both emotionally and intimately.
I'm not quite sure how the intimacy works, but my research showed me that it's an odd fetish called objectum-sexual. It's even a sexual orientation now, OS. There are 40 people in the world who have declared themselves OS, all of them women. That term was coined by Eija-Riita Berliner-Mauer, a 54 year old woman who has been "married" with, I hope you can be able to guess from her name, the Berlin Wall for 29 years. Wow, that's commitment.

You may have heard about the woman who married the Eiffel Tower. She even changed her name legally to Erika de la Tour Eiffel. She had been in love with other objects before, was infatuated with a bow that helped her become a world-class archer, she's fond of the Berlin Wall and has a physical relationship with a piece of fence she keeps in her room.
This psychiatrist named Jerry Brooker, from New York, says that the OS women are motivated by a need of control.
"Someone who falls in love with objects can control that relationship on their own terms," he said. "Their objects will not let them down. That is extremely attractive for a person who is otherwise often desperately lonely."
I don't know about you, but I find this kind of interesting. But I won't lie, it is kind of weird. No disrespect to the OS population of the world.
